What is Indie Mart? The Mission Indie-Mart is a monthly marketplace that has quickly grown from an underground backyard shopping party into a popular monthly event featuring a tantalizing combination of shopping, music, and food. This event showcases truly independent local designers, offering everything from one of a kind fashions and reconstructed vintage to offbeat crafts, handmade jewelry and fun antiques. Enjoy cheap beer, hot plates, local DJs and the cream of the crop of SF's indie designer scene.

just send us your name and email address and you'll be in there like the proverbial swimwear!

deadBEATsister is a screen printing getup, putting its stamp on all types of gear. Our designs are steeped in the love for the DIY printmaking process, inspired by the community patchwork that is San Francisco and the Bay Area and infused with cheek and originality. We print by hand in limited edition runs of 5 to 50 and if you like them, we print more.

Since deadBEATsister loves the earth and lots of people on it, we work hard to keep the printing process green every step of the way. Each piece uses non-toxic water-based inks and the kindest screen printing products we can find, including soy-based cleaners. Other main ingredients include love, good music and beer. All of our non-vintage items are either made in the US or by a US-based company with safe and fair international labor standards.

deadBEATsister is a member of the Corazon Network at the Global Fund for Women, donating a portion of every month's proceeds to support women's human rights around the world. We also support fair trade and international community building through The Global Gallery.
